Here is a very easy and simple tip to increase your Google PageRank on the next Update.
When making websites we often neglect our site’s HTML code and do not validate it which is a major flaw in getting low pageranks. While making websites the main consideration should be the HTML markup. HTML Code Validators are the main tools which help us identify the flaws in our sites HTML code, which in turn helps us in getting a good Google PageRank.
Steps For Increasing Your Site’s Google PageRank:
1. Jump to W3 Markup Validation Service. Check your site’s HTML code and try to rectify the errors in your Markup and you are Done!.
Yes Thats It!
What happens is that when you have unstructured and unvalidated HTML it causes the Google Bot to read through only half way of your page, thus assigning you a random or low page rank instead of the one you really deserved.
I hope this tip was useful to most of the bloggers ![]()

Google PR algorithm is a mystery
Is this confirmed and where is it documented?
I’ve been working overtime to validate my pages as XHTML strict and CSS compliant but have no empirical data suggesting that this is true.
I “believe” it to be true and thats I why I do it, but where is the hardcore proof?
Anyone?
I do not know what type of documentation you seek but its simple and general logic.
You help the Google spider and the spider helps you
Fair and Clear
I agree. However, Google has been around since 1998, almost 10 years. I’m sure they can interpret HTML 1, 2, 3, 4, 4.01, etc. just fine.
What is to say that XHTML Strict vs. Transitional vs. just straight HTML is helping us or hurting us?
I think coding in XHTML strict helps ME by making my code a little more readable and forcing the Chinese wall between display and logic but I would love to see an article from one of the geniuses that says it help with Google Pagerank.
