Google PR algorithm is a mystery
Is this confirmed and where is it documented?
I’ve been working overtime to validate my pages as XHTML strict and CSS compliant but have no empirical data suggesting that this is true.
I “believe” it to be true and thats I why I do it, but where is the hardcore proof?
Anyone?

I agree. However, Google has been around since 1998, almost 10 years. I’m sure they can interpret HTML 1, 2, 3, 4, 4.01, etc. just fine.
What is to say that XHTML Strict vs. Transitional vs. just straight HTML is helping us or hurting us?
I think coding in XHTML strict helps ME by making my code a little more readable and forcing the Chinese wall between display and logic but I would love to see an article from one of the geniuses that says it help with Google Pagerank.
