Finally after a struggle of almost 2 hours to make everything work right and better I have successfully upgraded to Wordpress 2.1.x series without any problems. First it took me 30 whole minutes to check my older plugins compatibility with the new Wordpress 2.1.x series and download the latest updated version of those plugins from the authors site and thankfully all of those plugins are fully compatible with Wordpress 2.1.x now and are running smoothly except for some odd ones that I shall discuss further. Eerst kostte me 30 hele minuten om mijn oudere plugins compatibiliteit met de nieuwe Wordpress 2.1.x serie controleren en download de laatste bijgewerkte versie van deze plug-ins van de auteurs site en gelukkig al die plugins zijn volledig compatibel met Wordpress 2.1.x nu en draait soepel met uitzondering van enkele oneven degenen die ik verder zal bespreken.
As in my earlier post I have discussed some Worpress SEO Plugins, here I will do the same but specifically for the Wordpress 2.1.x series because a lot of Wordpress SEO Plugins are incompatible with this new series. This plugin has also been updated with a beta release to make it work with Wordpress 2.1.x and a lot of new plugin features have been added such as Yahoo Blog Update Notifier and Popularity Contest addon capability. Though the development of this plugin has ceased and the plugin author is no longer updating it but if you have a bit of SEO knowledge you will know that you cannot live without this plugin if you want a good Search Engine Ranking. Hoewel de ontwikkeling van deze plugin is beëindigd en de plugin auteur is niet langer de actualisering ervan, maar als je een beetje kennis van SEO dan weet je dat je niet kunt leven zonder deze plugin als je een goede Search Engine Ranking willen. Besides the plugin is simple and does not need any update. Naast de plugin is eenvoudig en heeft geen behoefte aan een update. Works smoothly with Wordpress 2.1.x as tested by me. Werkt probleemloos met Wordpress 2.1.x zoals getest door mij.

The plugin has not been updated for Wordpress 2.1.x but works smoothly with it and you might not find this plugin at its authors site so its available here at Sizlopedia. De plugin is niet bijgewerkt voor Wordpress 2.1.x maar werkt probleemloos met het en je misschien niet deze plugin vinden op haar site, zodat de auteurs zijn beschikbaar hier bij Sizlopedia.

The Plugin caused a problem for me in the Admin section. De plugin veroorzaakte een probleem voor mij in de Admin sectie. A fatal memory-size-limit error caused when I tried to activate it in the Admin panel. Een fatale geheugen-size-limiet fout veroorzaakt toen ik probeerde om het te activeren in de Admin panel. I m not sure whether it was only for me or is it some bug in WP but I applied a small fix that made the plugin working smoothly. Ik weet niet zeker of het alleen voor mij, of is het een bug in de WP maar ik heb een kleine correctie toegepast, dat de plugin werkt soepel gemaakt. it requires adding a small line to admin-functions.php in your wp-admins folder. het vereist het toevoegen van een kleine lijn naar admin-functions.php in je wp-admins map. So if anyone of you experiences a similar fatal error and wants the solution just post in a comment and I will reply back with the solution. Dus als iemand van jullie ervaringen met een soortgelijke fatale fout en wil dat de oplossing alleen post in een commentaar en ik zal antwoorden met de oplossing.
Update : Read this carefully please. Update: Lees dit zorgvuldig please. If you upload this plugin and activate it in your Wordpress 2.1.x you will mostly like get a fatal error pointing to admin-functions.php saying something like memory overload. Als u deze plugin uploaden en te activeren in uw Wordpress 2.1.x zal je meestal als je een fatale fout te wijzen op admin-functions.php iets te zeggen als geheugen overbelasting. Now you have two choices Nu heb je twee keuzes
- Simply delete the plugin and not use it and everything will be back to normal Verwijdert u de plugin en niet gebruiken en zal alles weer normaal worden
- Use the plugin with a slight modification in your admin-functions.php Gebruik de plugin met een kleine wijziging in je admin-functions.php

Now you can use the plugin without any error. Nu kunt u de plugin zonder enige fout.
Technically speaking, this simple modification will increase the memory allocation of your admin-functions.php file which is initially set to 8MB. Technisch gezien zal deze eenvoudige wijziging verhoging van de toewijzing van geheugen aan uw admin-functions.php bestand dat oorspronkelijk is ingesteld op 8MB.

The plugin works fine with Wordpress 2.1.x as I have tested myself. De plugin werkt prima met Wordpress 2.1.x als ik zelf heb getest. Just remember there is no need to upload the prototype.js file in the plugin folder to your Wordpress wp-includes directory. Vergeet er is geen noodzaak om de prototype.js uploaden bestand in de plugin map naar uw Wordpress wp-includes map. So no need to be confused and use the plugin as it is. Dus geen behoefte te verwarren en gebruik de plugin zoals het is.

Actually at the authors site the plugin has not been updated for support with Wordpress 2.1.x so no need to go to the author's site. Eigenlijk op de auteurs de site van de plugin nog niet is bijgewerkt voor steun met Wordpress 2.1.x dus geen noodzaak om naar de site van de auteur. But due to its heavy demand I have updated the plugin files to work with Wordpress 2.1.x and the plugin can be downloaded here at Sizlopedia.com Maar vanwege de grote vraag heb ik bijgewerkt de plugin-bestanden te werken met Wordpress 2.1.x en de plugin kan hier worden gedownload op Sizlopedia.com
