Blogging Toolkit
Blogging Toolkit
is basically a set of tools and and web softwares that a blogger uses to manage, publicize, monetize and optimize his blog. A blogging toolkit is a very essential need of a blogger and the tools he/she uses help in generating traffic, gaining popularity and running a full featured nice blog.
Sizlopedia Toolkit
It is a common fact
every blogger has his unique style and own way of handling things. Some like to blog remotely and some like to blog through a particular platform. Some pay more heed to Blog Search Engine Optimization and some put all their concentrations to Quality of posts instead of quantity. All have one thing in common and thats the use of a particular Blogging ToolKit. Areeb has tagged me to reveal my blogging toolkit and here I shall unleash it.
Blogging Platform
Wordpress is the blogging platform that I have been using for over an year now
Though Sizlopedia was born only a couple of months ago but my relation to wordpress is very old. I have used wordpress on a lot of mini-blogs and I found it the best open source blogging software ever.
Blogging Client
Well as for me I use the built-in Wordpress Rich Text Editor to write my blog posts because it rocks. It auto saves posts, has full rich text features, has code switching ability and the best of all to add custom fields. Now what more could one want? Yes I do confess that I have used Windows Live Writer for some days too but it did not suit me well
Statistics Software
Google Analytics is the best free analytics/stats web software ever. Works with Wordpress or with any other site and gives you detailed insight of your web traffic. Highly recommended
Blog Promotion
Well I use quite a few plugins for my blog promotion which you can find in my post of Best SEO Plugins. The best way to check if my plugins have really supported me in the field of SEO just go to Google and type in ‘Best SEO Plugins’ and do not get surprised if you see my post in the Top 3 lol
Blog Feeds
Feedburner rocks when it comes to monetizin, publicizing and optimizing your blog feeds.
Browser
Not basically a part of the blogging toolkit but still important in many aspects. Firefox is my first and final choice and I assume would be the choice to every blogger on earth. Moreover I use StumbleUpon and WebDeveloper plugins for my Firefox which can help you a lot when it comes to Blog Traffic and Blog Optimization.
Blog Graphics
Graphics add more charm to your blog and increase your readership. I always use Graphics in my posts and all over my blog you can see the graphics are all made and edited in Adobe Photoshop. For animations and complex graphics I use Adobe Imageready sometimes which spices up the taste of Graphics. The Feed icon as you see in my sidebar has been created by me from scratch on ImageReady
I think thats all
lol
Hmm as now its my turn to Tag someone so I tag Madhur, Mr.Byte and Nirmal to share their Blogging Toolkit with everyone

Thanks for tagging…I’ll write tomorrow. Looks like you have a good knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Imageready
