How To Boost Your Google Adsense CTR Easily?

Google Adsense

It is the dream wish of every web master and specially every blogger :evil: to earn more out of his Blog because one manages a puts together a lot of hard work and time over a blog and it is a ones dream that one gets the reward for ones hard work and time.

Google Adsense

Bloggers mainly rely on Google Adsense as their source of Income and generating revenue from their blogs but often fall pray to invalid click activity and other such activites which break the Google Adsense Terms Of Services and result in a publisher account ban.

:razz: Today I shall reveal my new strategy of increasing Google Adsense CTR which does involves images but does not involve breaking of any Google Adsense TOS

Innovative Google Ad Blending

Take a visual look of my latest strategy in action:

Google Adsense Blending

Most of you would be thinking that the strategy would break Google Adsense Terms Of Services but the good news is that it does not and Google Adsense Support has mailed me a positive response approving the Google Adsense Ad Blending when I made a query to them to check if this new blending is legal and does not break any Google Adsense TOS.

Update
Here is another example of blending your Google referral ads:

Google CTR Boost

Google Adsense Support Response

I know no one would believe me as it involves images placed next to ads which is against the Google Adsense TOS but why don’t you take a look at this Google Adsense Support Mail. Actually the trick is that I am not using any images near the ads. Those, as most of you are already aware, are Google Referral scripts and no where in Google Adsense TOS have they said that you can’t place Google Adsense Ad Blocks near other Google Adsense Ads so this keeps me safe.

Implementing This Blending On Your Blog

This new strategy did increase my Google Adsense CTR dramatically. Moreover it also gives you the chance to earn through referrals as earning through referrals is considered a very difficult job unless you have high traffic.

Here is how to implement this blending in your blog. If you want to implement your Google ads such that 3 Google Referral Ad blocks are shown beside it:

Just put this code

<table width=”490″ border=”0″ cellpadding=”0″ cellspacing=”0″>
<tr>
<td width=”130″ height=”68″>{Firefox Referral Code}</td>
<td width=”346″ rowspan=”3″>{336×280 Google Adsense Block Code}</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td height=”68″>{Adsense Referral Code}</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td height=”68″>{Adwords Referral Code}</td>
</tr>
</table>

and for people who dislike tables as they are not XHTML Strict here is a similar DIV construction:

<div style=”margin-bottom:50px;margin-top:10px”>
<div style=”float:right”>{336×280 Google Adsense Block Code}
</div>
<div style=”margin-top:10px”>{Firefox Referral Code}
</div>
<div style=”margin-top:25px”>{Adsense Referral Code}
</div>
<div style=”margin-top:25px”>{Adwords Referral Code}
</div>
</div>

On the other hand for simple 1 Google Referral Ad block like the one you see here on Sizlopedia right now:

Put this code:

<div style=”margin-bottom:50px;margin-top:10px”>
<div style=”float:right”>{336×280 Google Adsense Block Code}
</div>
<div style=”padding-top:10px”>{Firefox Referral Code}
</div>
</div>

in your single.php and page.php of your Blog Theme. Best positions are after the Post Title and after the Post Content. You can try any other positioning too.

I hope this shall help you increase your revenue and get a handsome CTR :roll: I have also added this post to my popular How To Page.

Great tip man , will implement it soon . Btw how much is you CTR if you dont mind my asking .

Hmm..pics on the side of ads do help in attracting readers but I am unable to guess the reason for this new tactic of yours. I will definitely try this..thanks a lot for sharing!

Ok just tried it..it looks awful in IE :sad:

Nirmal Please tell us if you find that this implementation has increased your CTR

Madhur my average CTR before implementing this was 2.5% and now after implementing this strategy it has boosted up to somewhere 5.3% on average so you can see it has almost doubled :cool:

Sharique It looks fine for me in both IE6 and Firefox however Nirmal told me that in Opera the code is looking disturbed because Opera is not good with tables and also Tables are not XHTML Strict so I shall convert the code to DIV and update as soon as possible :oops:

Dam can you try make us a Div code because tables look horrible in IE :(

I am also gonna try this one… :evil:

They have blocked my account because some ***guys have made lots of clicks on the advertisments on my website. :twisted: :mad: :sad:

Great tip man. Maybe I’ll go for it soon. :evil:

Thanx to everyone for appreciating my new strategy :mrgreen:

The good thing is that I have converted the code to DIV too and now you can use the DIV code instead of Tables to make your code more visible and stable :wink:

Just put this up on my blog: http://masalajokes.blogspot.com
hope it increases the CTR. :idea:
Thanks anyways! :wink:

I indeed hope that this implementation increases your Adsense CTR :cool:
But as I checked your blog I think you are making a slight mistake :roll: The Referral Ads should be on left of the Text Ad block while on your blog its the opposite
Do consider it Thanx :evil:

Hii,
First of all thanks for this cool trick, and other thing is i clicked on your 2 of your ads. ENJOY. Can i impelment this code on my blog easily ??? Thanks

Best Regards,
Eliena Andrews

Great idea! I’m now experimenting with this on TFTS.

Thanks for the heads up - appreciated.

hii,
i will sure put this on my blog. thanks for sharing..

Hii,
when i try to implement on blog, i m getting this error “XML error message: Open quote is expected for attribute “style” associated with an element type “div”.”

HOw do i make it work on my blog.

Andrew Sir You are always Welcome :mrgreen: and by the way you have a great blog :)

Eliena lol :D first of all thanx for your series of great comments
Now as comes the part of implementing this new strategy on your blog well I am definitely sure you must have done one mistake
Even if you copy the code from here as it is DO NOT write the quotes within the code as they are written here within the post (well the reason is that wordpress does not make code-friendly quotes :( )
So just re-write the code as it is written here and ask me if you face any other problem

WOW! Nice idea..Thanks for the tip..

Thats a known tactic. People have been using this for years.

knight17 Thanx for appreciating :smile:

Information Madness Wish it was a known tactic :roll: then probably bloggers would not have appreciated me like they have now which you can clearly see from their comments :razz:

MaexM

Hello, i want to ask were i can get mode that do like in codes {google adsense code}. To get yes by adding google ads :)

(sorry for my bad english)

I tried doing it, but the referal buttons showed up below the ad unit. I tried it with different sizes. atlast switched just to display the ad unit.
Kindly help me to use the referal and unit beside each other

MaexM :sad: Buddy unfortunately I am not able to comprehend what you want to say unless you can make it a little more specific

Santosh :smile: I checked your blog buddy and it seems that the referral button must be showing up below the ad unit because the container of the wordpress skin you are using right now is very small

You can easily rectify this problem by either changing your theme or expanding your theme container using some CSS magic :evil:

:sad: yeh, i changed my theme to the most popular one, with enough space. but still it shows one below the other. Kindly help.

Hello Santosh once again

I checked your Blog source and it seems that you do not know that Wordpress does not have Code Friendly Quotes so when you copy the Adsense Code mentioned here on Sizlopedia to your single.php theme file make sure you re-write the quotes in the code again

I hope your query is resolved now :smile:

Thank you, it worked fine. the horizontal spacing between them are a little more, but will fiddle out how to.. if possible have a look. :mrgreen: thank you again for your kind support

I tried a new method on my website http://googleadmagic.com - it worked well. its not aganist the Google TOS. increase in 300% in CTR

Great idea, will implement in my blog soon.

Also please tell me if you have any idea that what should be the maximum CTR? because I am getting lot of clicks on my blog after I implemented unit ads. All these clicks are valid as I am also seeing the traffic from different countries all over the world.

Shafiq Good to know you liked the idea.

As far as the Google Adsense CTR is concerned I am afraid that is different for different sites and publishers.

Sizlopedia used to get a 8%-9% Google Adsense CTR until when Google changed their Adsense code. Now Sizlopedia gets a CTR somewhere between 4% to 5%

I did implement this tweak also on my blog but didn’t prove to improve CTR. Don’t know why coz of traffic or it doesn’t perform. I m going to try this on my new blog now.

Angelina Mina

I am not sure if this trick will increase Google Adsense CTR any longer for publishers as the Google Adsense code has unexpectedly changed a lot.

Plus it also depends on your blog/site design.

I think link Unit are excellent because they are performing much much better than other ads on my blog.
