Well 
making your blog content notable can be quite a hard task when your readers have less time to read and you have a lot of stuff to share. Communicating with your audience is the first step that helps you develop a connection with them and good communication is the next step of attaining audience attention 
The question that rises now is? What makes someone read your blog? and what factors affect the visibility of your blog?
Here are some tips that you may find useful which have helped me gain a good blog readership in just a course of 3 months
Use Bold Content Keywords
Its human psychology that when we are reading something with interest we are definite to read fast if we are provided with some highlighted keywords that help us understand and scan though the article fast.
Your readers have a precious time. Value them and always highlight/bold the main content keywords in a paragraph or article. This helps you readers judge what the content is about and helps you better communicate with your audience.
Use Headings For Paragraphs
Even in a single post always try to have dynamic headings/titles for your paragraphs that describe what the whole paragraph is about and what have you discussed in it. Reading long static text can make your readers bore and I wouldn't be surprised if you start losing a good readership. Always try to present something to your readers that they might find enticing.
Use Content Keyword In Post Title
Not only does this strategy help your users identify the content of your article but also helps you in getting a good search engine rank and a good seo. Always use dense keywords from your post article in your post title. This tells yours users what possibly can the post be about. It also makes Search Engine daddies e.g. Google Yahoo MSN to rank you higher for that particular keyword thus giving you a decent traffic and a reasonable popularity.
Use Quality Graphics
The biggest mistake that I have noticed most bloggers do is that they do not pay any heed to Graphics and Images which are the basic elements that can attract your readers. The need for images and graphics is must being a blogger. Even if you a short article always include a preview or image that related to the content of the article. Images make your content lively and as if your content speaks for itself. They also generate a colorful blend in the readers mind for which he gets bound to visit your blog again. And of course I don't think I need to say this but 'A Picture is a worth a thousand words'
Express and Exclaim
Your readers don't want to read mere text. They want you to speak with them through your writing and how best can that be done? Start expressing and exclaiming your personal reviews and personal opinios. Use emoticons, show agreement, show disagreement, in short criticize your own article with the best words you have
Share an Exciting Tone
'Hello Today I am going to blog about Google ..... "
"Looks like the Search Engine Daddy is high on line....."
Both are the sentences that two different bloggers would use to initiate the same story. But which one looks unique? Definitely you know the answer. Always use a different and unique tone in your Blog posts that makes your content look live and dynamic. Using a static tone can make you lose a good readership and can decrease the number of your audience.
