Google Earth Day

It is a very common observation that whenever there is a new event or any anniversary of any world event globally Google always decorates the Google Search Homepage with a new logo which matches the event celebration.

As it is 22nd of April so Google has decorated the Google Search Homepage with the Google Earth Day Logo.

The Earth Day

Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April each year. As Wikipedia states and I quote:

“The April 22nd Earth Day is celebrated responding to wide spread environmental degradation, United States Senator Gaylord Nelson of Wisconsin called for an Environmental Teach-in or Earth Day to be held on April 22, 1970. Over 20 million people participated and it is now observed each year by more than 500 million people and national governments in 175 countries. ”

Google’s Hidden Message

Google does not make new logos just for decoration purposes rather sometimes Google has a deep hidden message inside the Google logo.

Like today its Earth Day and Google’s new logo is displaying the effects of Global Warming on Earth’s Environment.
