Building a New Concept For a Web 2.0 Blog

Ok I know I do not need to mention this a billion times but seriously I have been busy a lot with a lot of things. First of all I was busy with the development of Free Image Hosting which is still in BETA phase and still needs a lot of improvements and tweaks.

Secondly I was busy revamping this blog and here you have it infront of your eyes. Sizlopedia has been totally refreshed and recharged with a cool new web 2.0 compatible blog design.

Here are some of the new factual tweaks I have made:

Making Qwilm Go Web 2.0

Oh Yes I knw its hard to believe for Qwilm lovers that is still really Qwilm? But the fact is that Yes it is still Qwilm but thanks to CSS and XHTML I managed to totally revamp it. I hate myself for using a Table in the theme but I had no other option.

The new redesigned version of Qwilm looks sleek and cool doesn’t it? If anyone wants to download this new revamped version of Qwilm just Contact Me.

Less Outgoing Links : Better SEO

This may be a bad news for most of my fellow bloggers and I wonder how many of them would be flaming by now but I have removed the Blogroll from the Homepage. I did this for a better SEO because less outgoing links means a better SEO. Also the link advertisement price at the homepage will correspondingly go high now.

Moreover I have installed the Top Commentors Plugin which will give a link back to all those who visit this blog and contribute regularly. I know I would have done this earlier but now is not late either. Thanks to Rishi with helping me finding the plugin.

New Web 2.0 Bookmarks

The new Web 2.0 Bookmarks you are seeing on the right side are specifically by me and I think they fit in well. Anyone can use them they are free and are best alternative and light solution to Social Bookmarks Plugins.

In case you missed my Integrate Web 2.0 Bookmarks To Wordpress post you can now check it again for easy installation of these bookmarks on your blog.

Highly Optimized For Wordpress

You can see that clearly that this theme is highly optimized for wordpress. To be honest I have specially re-designed the theme to make the adsense ads blend well along side and to attain a good adsense click through rate.

Lets see how far I gain success in my new strategy.

Well those are the major tweaks I have done to this blog. I hope the new design looks more appealing and catches more audience. Please don’t forget to leave your reviews Thank You.

“Less Outgoing Links : Better SEO”

Nice Changes the design has really been optimized for Wordpress but i still don’t believe in the less outgoing links theory.

I think this design is the best so far. My thumbs up for this new look and concept. Better than the old one.

If I wanted to ask you how to get a hold of this particular Qwilm theme, is it ok?

Ken Xu and Ehsan My pseudo ‘Less Outgoing Links : Better SEO’ has a very factual foundation and I plan to discuss it more in my up coming posts :!:

DarrinW Thanks for subscribing and I will make the theme available to download soon enough

Thilak, Shankar, Madhur, Nirmal, Mr.Byte Thanks to everyone for appreciating the new design

Good Design & I think most of them will enjoy coming to your blog.

I want to ask you about the adsense ad in your blog, did they cost you?

Because once I tried doing Google adsense ad in the blog it was asking me to pay $800 and it is not possible to pay for each & every blog that we create for the company.

And you said about less outgoing links better SEO which is 100% true…because many links will make may problem. So for this purpose even javascripts are available to track out going links.

Your design is wonderful. You said more useful things in this blog. You have done the wonderful work on Google adsense creation.

Thanks once again and keep on updating.

Thanks for appreciating my blog, my articles and my blog layout.

I am confused on the part where you say that Google Adsense is asking you to pay $800. It is a free ad network for publishers then why would it ask you to pay such a heavy fee?

Rest I think you have made a good point saying that outbound links should be protected through javascript. Thanks for bringing this to sight.

Hi Dj Flush!

First I would like to say that I was wrong above saying that Google Adsense cost $800. The Thing I created is Google Adwords not Google Adsense. After seeing your comment I checked my account all about the ad I created and that was adwords…sorry for saying that above.

Thanx for correcting me in this.
