Salam! Its so nice to read this post. I am a big fan of your blog. Always get new information here. I have heard that now AdSense allows 2 link unit on a page and 2 search box. Is it true ?

Also I was not using Google Search Box at my websites, but finally I decided to put the search box. I amazed as I am getting around 40% of my total earning from this search box. Also note that i placed the search box in the middle of my website just below header covering whole 728×90 size space.

I am not sure, will it work for others, but I shared it with intentions that it may help others. After all, we are learning from each others’ experience and we are all part of Adsense Publisher Community. Is not it?

I did not mention it in the post because this post was written long ago when I had a different theme and a different strategy to make money with Adsense. Things change over time and now I have a new theme with a good new Adsense ad positioning.

People do get annoyed by web sites which are over stuffed with ads so you should always choose an ad format according to the post lengths of your blog.

This is very helpful information, thanks. Just one question though – I noticed that you also have a 336×280 ad block at the end of your post. You didn’t mention this in your post, so should this be included as well? My concern is that this may oversaturate the page with ads and turn people away, especially if the post is short.

As here on Sizlopedia the ads on the homepage were getting a Null CTR

So I suggested to remove the Ads on homepage

Also it helps your visitors find new content with ease

Well Madhur I think its because of the blog audience

There is a bigger audience at night than day still thats just an assumption

My CTR is ranging between 5 to 7 these days

Nice list man , currently i have seen my CTR fluctuate between 1 and 3 . During daytimes they are generally 1.5 % but during nighttime it becomes 3.5% , know the reason for it ?

thanks man, this might help my earnings, currently im getting around 2 bucks a day from adsense. im sure i could improve this by putting an ad in the post.
