The reason Gmail got so popular in the web and in the Internet was not because of its light interface and easy to use navigation but due to its huge GigaByte mail space trend but I think its time Google is going to meet its match.
Yahoo Mail Goes Unlimited
Yahoo Mail which already adopted the GigaByte trend in order to keep up with Gmail is planning to give away Unlimited Mail Storage from today in a move to make its mail product product over the Internet and to keep its competition with Gmail fair and hot.
Yahoo Begins The Upgrade Process
Yahoo decided to give away Unlimited mail storage space in March considering the great email revolution but did not give any highlights of the release date. However Yahoo has begun the process upgrade from today and by time the accounts of every user will be made Unlimited soon.
Google’s Ironic Reaction
Soon after Yahoo announced the launch of its Unlimited Mail Storage service Google comes up with a new ironic idea to offer something more than only Unlimited. Gmail will soon offer a Infinity + 1 MB Mail storage capacity to its users which is quite ironic but brings a new marketing strategy.
Lets see how Yahoo and Google strive to make their place at the top in the Email market. Yahoo has taken a good initiative but on the other hand Gmail is planning something big too soon.

This is good news, but the only problem is that you cant use this unlimited space to store any other photos or songs. It can be only used for mails. Rediff.com is offering unlimited email where you can store all your photos, videos and mp3.
Nirmal In all cases
If we take a deep view of Yahoo strategies it is certain that they know No one in this world can use or needs Unlimited web storage
So I think it is just a hoax to catch the user attention
After all “Nothing is Unlimited, Not even the Universe”
ya right but i want to put a point…from the very first day when rediffmail announce unlimited space spam actually doubled in my account…so according to me these days these kind of acts are just to give more publicity.
Abishek My opinion is that whenever you talk about the Email Kings
Its always Msn, Gmail or Yahoo and none other
Rediff is advertising desperately to get some people use their email feature!
