
Firefox 3 is making much of the hot news now a days in the browser industry and though Internet Explorer 7 is still a new browser it is expected that soon it will go obsolete. Recently the official Firefox blog revealed some cool concept mockups for the upcoming user interface features in Firefox 3 which were really cool and amazing but its time we should get our hands on the alpha releases.
Firefox 3.0 Alpha 5
Finally Firefox 3.0 Alpha 5 is available for download. According to the mozilla developer news the new Firefox 3.0 (aka Gran Paradiso) Alpha 5 is an early developer milestone for Firefox 3 and the next generation of Mozilla’s layout engine, Gecko 1.9. It is mainly developed for testing purposes only and is intended to be used by web application developers and by the mozilla community. It is recommended for Firefox users to wait for the full release of Firefox 3.0.

- Bookmarks portion of Places is now active
- There is a new crash reporting system called Breakpad
- New javascript password manager
- Some Gecko 1.9 bug fixes

Waiting For the beta version…
nothing much too see in it .. will have to wait for a beta version
Though there is really nothing much to see in the alpha release of Firefox 3 but being a blogger I think it can help us see how our blogs look in the upcoming Firefox release. But still waiting for the BETA is also a reasonable decision.
