Poor me I cannot use Vista because I don’t have such a high-end PC and second thing is Vista does not software much of the old softwares that is why I do not seem to like it much

Anas I think you have problem with the .exe package. I mean it has either not been downloaded successfully or perhaps there is another fault.

It worked perfectly for me and Cold-Fire as you can see from his comment above.

Try either running this software in safe-mode or if that does not work too try re-downloading it. Thanks

Here is a solution to check if your installer is not corrupt.

Download this MD5 Hash Code Checker and check the MD5 Hash code of your downloaded pack installer.

If it matches F1DF56BE32AE17CAFCD83EA3BAF6E957 then your installer is not corrupt. Otherwise re-download it from some other mirror

Update: I figured it out. Boot in safe mod and logon using your Administrator account and try running the installer. It works

X men The first time you install the package. You have to enable the Sidebar yourself by clicking on the Vista Welcome Center shortcut formed on your desktop.

Talking about the search feature in start. Yes you need Windows Blinds 5 to completely get the features of the aero style theme so download it.

Anas Please I am saying again that now that you have installed Windows Blinds please use it to apply the Aero Theme. If you still have further queries why don’t you go to the Support Forums and post you question there. Perhaps they will help you better.

I have Hp laptop windows XP I installed VTP 6 but did not change system files. I now wish to install VTP 7.
when I open software to install I get error message.
I have deleted KB 925902 in add and remove but still unable to install software.
My PC is working fine even after unstalling KB 925902.

Just to let you know I manage to install VTP 7
I installed it in safe mode but when I rebooted It csme up with a error message that KB 925902 was still installed and then when to the browzer ( although I had removed it previously.
I then tried and applied the fake patch you have listed and now it is working fine, I left the fake patch on as it works that way.
I have tested everything and all seems to work so far now

Tried to install but setup is not happy with KB925902, is there any other work around? Uninstalling this security update warns that a number of programs will not work. I am using xp pro, registered and activated.

This is not Vista Transformation 6 rather it is Vista Transformation 7 as you can read in the title.

Windows Vienna is a whole new operating system not a transformation pack. It is still under development and I have no news when it is coming out.

i know its a whole new operating system, because i have seen the new look of windows vienna! and its not the same as vista! its better! vista has a transformation pack when it came out, i knew bout transformation packs for a long time……….

I have the same problem as everyone else and I’ve downloaded Windowblinds and installed it etc. I cannot get the patch to work and I cannot get safe mode because I have Windows XP Media Center Edition on once I press F8 I only get one option, To start Windows Media Center Edition.. Is there any other solutions? Please help!

I had a problem when i was opening the Pack. When i clicked it, a window popped up and said

“Vista Transformation Pack has detected that hotfix KB925902 is installed which may contain third party applications may not start and show error dialog like: program- illegal system DLL Relocation”

Toton You will have to enable the sidebar after installing the pack to get the sidebar clock.

Jeff I am not sure whats the cure to that problem but I think I have encountered this problem once here on my personal computer too. I think you should refer to the official forum support and get help from there.

Looks nice, however I can’t get it installed. They prompt for the Windows Setup folder, I think it is C:\ or C:\WINDOWS ? Tried both of them but still no go.

lol I used to have vista transformation pack 6 and i got the real vista so no need but it did rock it was 1st class but I might try the pack number 7 on my xp comp to see if it is better than the transformation pack 6.

By the way if u want to upgrade your XP to the real vista why don’t you run vista upgrade adviser it sees what your computer can take like basic buisness etc.

I am using Windows XP Professional and my system is fully updated now when I tried to install vista transformation pack 7.0.2 I am getting errors as (KB925902) and I removed it and then I am getting error as “sorry for inconvenience please close all applications setup cannot continue”, send don’t send options are available to click.

I’ve been using this pack and it’s been great! i use true transparency to mimic transparency on aero, and did a few tweaks myself. but all in all, this pack is complete.

to those using the real vista, good for you. but i find it laggy, glitchy, and a bit problematic. trust me. i once borrowed a brand new laptop loaded with vista ultimate (and mind you, the laptop runs on core 2 duo and has 1gb of ram in it) and it was still a bit glitchy

XP still rocks.

Please don’t this pack because it has many errors and bucks. I know this pack looks nice but look is not as important as the quality and stability of a software.

Ohh thanks for this package, i now use XP and i will transform with this pack, but no one like Linux Beryl, Microsoft and Mac sucks!!!
