J'avais employé ce service pendant plus d'une année long maintenant et m'égalise aujourd'hui vois que l'outil en ligne d'évaluation de domaine maintient sa norme et qualité.

actually thats an indication that the domain appraisal tool "is" really working.

You got high scores for having a TLD domain, no unwanted characters, and considerable domain length.

That is all what the tool is about. Try checking appraisals for JohnChow and ProBlogger and you will see the difference.
  • Ah.. I got it now!
    Thanks Dj Flush.
  • it SUCKS lol i don't have time to explain but it really sux there are better ones out there lol
  • haha, 308$!! quick question though? I'm guessing this has to be the most accurate one? because quiet frankly the results at www.dnscoop.com are.. well WEIRD! in what ways? Well, they said sizlopedia.com was worth 3200$+ sounds good but i doubt that there can be such a different betweeen both tools?

maybe Leapfish missed a 0 or :p maybe dnscoop added an extra 0 :/

    :p what say?
  • Lost Buddy LeapFish is a Domain appraisal tool only and will only give you stats related to your domain. It does not check your site content or anything related to your site but just your domain.

Dnscoop is another domain appraisal tool I know of but the score factors Dnscoop uses to check your site value are much different from the one LeapFish uses. Dnscoop not only checks value of your domain but puts your website content to consideration too.

Dnscoop uses mores seo tools than LeapFish that is why the value calculated by both have a huge difference.
  • Thanks for explaining this to us. Seems to be a pretty cool tool.
  • Oh,
    Check this out : http://www.leapfish.com/domain_name_appraisal.p...

    Anybody interested in buying? :D
    Special offer : 50% off ... hehe
  • Its look like LeapFish has done some major changes in their algorthms,
    phpio.com was valued at 36,500$
    Now, it is 87$

    Sizlopedia.com is now worth 900$+

My other site changed from 38$ to 2,000$
  • Arvind That is one hot value!

Sahil Hey thanks for the update. I assume they have added the "pagerank" factor to the algorthm.
  • Nice resource... but i think it gives a bit too much money for some domains
I just checked a domain i registered (linked here) around 4 months ago, and got:

Combined Domain Name Appraisal Value Score: 118
    Estimated Domain Name Value: $944.00

I wish i could sell it for that =P
  • I agree with the fact that they are over estimating values for some domain names. But their algorithm still remains a big mystery. I wish I knew how they calculate a domain's worth.
  • Jeremy
You should try out the new site... www.worthfish.com ...it is a lot better than LeapFish and the values are a lot more realistic (in my opinion anyway).
  • I just tried it and it seems to me a bit more unrealistic to be honest and true. The algorithm is not pretty much convincing for me.
  • Nancy
Well everybody I have great news! The awesome website, Leapship is coming back, and it's coming back in huge way in 2008. Possibly the new owners are going to revive the once very popular site. So stay tuned!!
