There are many applications in Microsoft Windows that do not come up to my taste and I find them quite boring and dull. Unfortunately the default Windows Notepad is one of them. Though it is one very simple and easy-to-use text editor but still it has very limited functions and is not at all recommended for hardcore users.

I love Notepad++. I use it for everything from simple text editing, to writing VBScripts for system administration.
I prefer the Notepad++. It suites me better.
