YouTube Introuduces Custom Embedded Players

Some time ago I discussed about the new features YouTube is adding to the YouTube world which include introducing YouTube Remixer through which you can edit your online YouTube Videos and add spice to them and another major feature added was the new beta layout that is expected to release anytime soon. But reading over at Google OS I just discovered that YouTube has once again added a new feature to the YouTube Family.

Try The Custom Player By YouTube

The new YouTube Custom Player is a user specific feature that YouTube added for all its YouTube users. The Custom Player feature allows you to create a custom YouTube player for your blog or site. You can choose the color scheme of the embedded player and can also choose the videos you want to broadcast through it. it is more like a your own custom YouTube TV Channel.

Embedding The Custom Player On Your Blog

This new feature can come handy as you can make a custom playlist for your blog specific videos and can broadcast them on your blog according to the style you want. Just head on to Custom Player and sign in with your YouTube ID. Make a custom playlist for your blog related videos and generate the code. You can then use the code in your sidebar or any single post just like I have used above.

  • Minty Blog Indeed your point is very accurate. The new custom YouTube player is definitely a good sign for all those video bloggers who previously had to use the gray and dull YouTube player just because they had no other option.
  • Well i have never used YouTube seriously but i think this might be useful for video bloggers or other big websites who want to match the YouTube player's design with there website design

    The sad part is that I will still have to wait to watch the movie till the DVD reaches in my city.

  • I did not use to embed YouTube Videos on my blog previously due to the major reason of not having the liberty to customize the player according to my own choice but with the advent of this new feature I think I can make my blog a lot more interesting by adding videos to it.
