i do a lot of file sharing and no where in this post can i find anything about how to tell if the file you are downloading is any good so if you need help with this try using bitzi you can download it here http://bitzi.com/ this will tell you weather are not the file is any good before you download it good luck every one and spread the word about this and mabey we can clean up all this junk http://bitzi.com/

2. go buy a gun

I have used limewire, limewire pro,emule,imesh,bearshare and frostwire.Frostwire seems to be the fastest for me. (adsl).

I have Bearshare on my old computer. Now I have tried newer versions of Bear and Lime, and all I get are pay songs. How do I get my old Bear back? All I want is free tunes.

The Pirate Bay charging? Nope they are still free, and probably, well hopefully will be free. The best torrent site I find is Demonoid, which sadly closed down a while back, but then re-opened! Yay!

The problem may be ISP’s though. Internet Service Providers, well some in the UK, are joining a voluntary code, which would have them writing letters to every one using p2p software, as a warning, and then possibly contacting the law and other organisations if it continued. I wonder if it will go ahead. I mean they have been talking about stopping it for years, but maybe it’s the start of the end now.

There is a new network for Bearshare6.0, it uses a different protocol and away from the G1 or G2 networks…
@ Andre – This version is completely free from spyware…but not a well spread n/w as with G1/2.

Bearshare 5.0x versions is packaged with some addware…

Yup Ares is the best, especially it can bypass some firewall configurations[in a LAN env].
Azureus is the best followed by bitcomet for torrents in terms of findin peers and cachin and stuff!!!

just wanna know what is better?
torrent downloading or direct downloading?
i use ares, but i find it a bit slow.
is there some way it could go faster or do u recommend another torrent program?
