The software I will be using to make this tutorial is Adobe Photoshop however just follow the steps accordingly and you can replicate the tutorial to be used with other graphic softwares like Paint Shop Pro and Gimp. Make sure the font-style is set to 'Arial', the font-weight must be 'bold' with a 'smooth' anti-aliasing and of course choose whatever font size you like eg 50pt is recommended. 6. Repeat steps 2-5 again to create a text of different color which is going to be a part of your final logo. Note: Make sure the Outer Glow color of your text logo is always lighter than the Color Overlay and it is good if you match the text colors with the colors of your open-source image or icon like in this tutorial.
