Of course with the domination of web 2.0 its almost difficult to stay away from cool looking logos so worry not because now even you can make yourself a glassy web 2.0 logo using this tutorial. Make a Glassy Web 2.0 Logo Faça uma Glassy Web 2.0 Logo

The software I will be using to make this tutorial is Adobe Photoshop however just follow the steps accordingly and you can replicate the tutorial to be used with other graphic softwares like Paint Shop Pro and Gimp. O software que será utilizado para fazer este tutorial é o Adobe Photoshop no entanto basta seguir os passos nesse sentido e você pode replicar o tutorial para ser usado com outros softwares gráficos como Paint Shop Pro e Gimp. The method is really simple and easy and will not take then more than 5 minutes. O método é muito simples e fácil, e não terá então mais de 5 minutos. So here we go: Então, vamos lá:

1. Open a blank document in Adobe Photoshop of any pixel dimension with the default preset, resolution, color mode and background as white. Abra um documento em branco no Adobe Photoshop de qualquer dimensão de pixel com o padrão predefinido, resolução, modo de cor e fundo como branco.
2. Select the 'Text Tool' and and write a text of your choice eg'Web'. Selecione a "Ferramenta de Texto" e e escrever um texto de sua escolha eg'Web '. Make sure the font-style is set to 'Arial', the font-weight must be 'bold' with a 'smooth' anti-aliasing and of course choose whatever font size you like eg 50pt is recommended. Certifique-se que a fonte estilo é definido como "Arial", o font-weight deve ser 'ousado' com um 'bom' anti-aliasing e, claro, escolher o tamanho da letra que você gosta, por exemplo 50pt é recomendado.
3. Right click on the text layer you just created and click 'Blending Options'. Clique com o botão direito sobre a camada de texto que você acabou de criar e clique em "Blending Options".

6. Repeat steps 2-5 again to create a text of different color which is going to be a part of your final logo. Note: Make sure the Outer Glow color of your text logo is always lighter than the Color Overlay and it is good if you match the text colors with the colors of your open-source image or icon like in this tutorial.
