They only payout if you haven’t been uploading copyrighted material. And since most people upload copyright material, they won’t get paid.

Secondly they say that they create an adbrite account and make money with adbrite invideo adverts. I have uploaded over 2500 video’s (I am not joking) and have had my video’s viewed 740,000 times so far. My adbrite account is still $0! After contacting adbrite they said that the revenue is automatic and I didn’t need to do anything and that I should contact megavideo. After 3months of constantly emailing megavideo and getting no reply it’s obvious this is a scam and I recommend that no-one get taken in by it.

Uploaded a buncha videos, left for a few months.

came back, 190,000 points.

redeemed 100,000 points, and got $100 on my paypal just in days.

They do pay.

should make it big. Now all they need is Sliders.

I think you dont have any accurate info. u said its not fake, on what basis u can assure that, if they are genuine why dont they reply to their members, atleast for premium members and they also dont have any contact number to reach.

My understanding is, its just fake because recentluy when my friend reached rewards points where he was supposeed to get money but the other day they just suspended his account saying that he was uploading inapproriate videos though he was not doing that. what might be the gud reason other than this to say that megavideo is fake

I do watch videos over at MegaVideo but I have never applied for their rewards program so I cannot answer your 1st and 2nd question.

However as far as your 3rd question is concerned I do not think that MegaVideo is fake as it is owned by MegaUpload which is a very reputed and probably one of the best file hosting service on the Internet.

I found megavideo rewards interesting but cudnt find answers for my questions. Does any one have idea about it?

1. Once earned some points to redeem, what is the process to get cash for our the points

2. Their reward program say’s tht to redeem points for cash you need to have premium ac only thourgh paypal(means u have to buy it).Say if i got 1yr membership+$100 for my 100000 points though i have premium ac am i not eligible to redeem points for cash?

3. why dont they reply for emails or dont have any customer support to contact. some say tht megavideo is fake, is it true?

I think Megavideo will have no problem beating YouTtube because though YouTube has a massive popularity but Megavideo lets you view top series like full episodes of Lost

You have a nice point there. I think this offer by MegaVideo is still way behind the one that MetaCafe gives to its users.

However talking about ‘Making Money For Losing Some Money’ I think that is very normal as for every business you start you always invest something Don’t you?

Well make money online by loosing some money. As far as i know, this make money option with adbrite adds is available only for the users with premium accounts. And for premium accounts paying 10$ per month might be a bit costly for newbies isn’t it?

This is definitely no match to YouTube as far as I think but the site has done quite well in customizing the looks and feel just according to YouTube.

MegaVideo also gives you an option to import your YouTube videos and YouTube account (now thats something) but still I feel their reward system is not as strong as that of MetaCafe.

They will need to do a hell lot more to beat YouTube eh?

This is going to be more famous just because they give you an opportunity to make money. But it looks like the Reward program which Metacafe has already introduced. Anyway, let’s see how far this goes.
