Finally! The wait is over. Today and right now I will unveil the names of those lucky winners who have earned themselves a free 1 month rapidshare premium account from the free rapidshare premium account contest. This time the contest was really very much fun as compared to last time because there was a longer time-line and much bigger prize.
Free Rapidshare Premium Contest
The contest started on 9th August 2007 and ended yesterday on 25th August 2007. Rapidshare being the most used and fastest file hosting service on the Internet makes the life of many web users easy by allowing them to download applications, softwares, movies, games etc. This contest was more like a research and its purpose was to get statistics about the influence of file hosts on the life of web users. This time the contest rules were more strict and did not allow “one-line” comment entries rather the users had to discuss a little about the contest and Rapidshare itself to get their name into the draw.
Response to the Rapidshare Contest
Of course the contest received a great hand of applause and similarly a great response. There were over 100+ comment entries in a time period of two weeks where people fully explained their liking/disliking for rapidshare and the contest. However a lot of “one-line” comments (’Give me Premium’ ‘This rocks’ ‘You are great’) really disappointed me and I had to delete them so if you commented to take part in the contest and don’t see your name there then you are definitely one of those free-riders.
