I have a feeling that Google won’t make the same mistake that Apple did with the iPhone. Google will make sure it’s a 3G phone, no battery problems, etc. I like the GPhone better heh.

LoOkiN NiCe :D !!

wat about the price??

Amazing designs! I hope they release the G-Phone in all of these designs :D

Brown Baron I am not sure if Google will make the same mistake as Apple or not but I have at least this much faith in Google that I say Google Phone won’t disappoint its fans.

Cold Fire I have no idea about the price as of yet :)

Haris I will stick to the design by Dog Orgod

It is said that GPhone will be announced in two weeks.I hope so.

I have also heard that news but I did not put it to notice as its more likely a rumor because a fortnight is just not enough to release such a big product as far as I think.

Look’s GooD

what about the Price, weight, size…etc?

am really waiting for the release….To buy

How soon can i grab it?

There are no confirmed dates about the Google Phone release and similarly no information about the price, weight and size has been rolled out yet.

There are rumors that it will be launched at the end of July 2007 so all we can do right now is wait for some official word.

Sushil

GPhone would be with high tech feature crushing iPhone. Sounds Revolution. Amazing designs! Appears too good.

GPhone still looks like a dream to me. There is no official word on the release of GPhone yet which makes it a quite dreamy and futuristic sort of gadget.

Two quickies. Google gets all its income from advertising. Are we going to see encroachment from pop-ups on our cell phones? And, mobile phones have become a joke for dangerous driving. Why is it a good idea - even a consideration - to add further complications? Seems like Google is just asking for more government controls.

Oh well the actual thing is that Google Phone is not real at all rather there will be other phones which will run on Google’s new mobile operating system called Android which is an open source platform for mobiles.

Gphone will bring a revolution in the market since it would be cheapest since it would work on LINUX or UNIX(not sure) but yes you wont have to pay for all the licenses of the softwares and coz of that it would be cheapest. Also it wont be as good as iPhone since you can move screen in iPhone but the gPhone would have best features but not screen moving facilities. Though they might come up once they know how well they compete when it comes to touch screen cell phone with iPhone.

sravani

Its awesome really! Better than iPhone.

Jonathan Toller

You can say it’s a concept phone that has not even been released, how can you compare it the iPhone. For now its just a dream to be able to attack Apple!

I was just woundering if anyone knows what phone company the G Phone will be controlled by?

I am not sure about Google’s plan for the G Phone but assuming what happened with the iPhone you can say that the G Phone will come locked with some service provider that is now a days in competition to A T&T.

The G phone is supposed to be released summer 2008. It will not be on a network like the iPhone. It is supposed to be free. Free calling and free TV. It was announced at the CES 2008 show.

mike

It would be very cool if they could make the phone just like in the last picture. I would definitely buy that. Unfortunately I do not see that happening.

Zhon

The G Phone service will be provided by Google. January 15th a portion of bandwidth goes up for auction and Google is bidding 4 billion dollars on it so they can use it to launch their own mobile telecommunications division. This new service will revolutionize the concept of cellular service and most likely break the big 3 providers such as AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. It is rumored that the service will be free! Go Google!

David

Ok for all of you who have not heard yet Google is not, I repeat is NOT releasing a phone. The G-Phone project was the pne they developed Android under.

Hmm well I hope that it will be Wi-Fi in stead of just crappy dial-up. Also it looks good and plus I hate the iPhone.

Javon

This phone is 2 hot! I cant wait till the release date is set! I don’t miss out on to man things i want, so I know I’ll have this!

C.S.Reddy

The mobile is very delightful which has been released in website. But I want to wait and see how good it works with our hanging. And main thing is the price and the weight.

David

Javon read the other comments and you won’t look like a moron. They are not releasing the Phone!

Greg

The designs are stunning, but as of right now, they’re just pipe dreams.

What about internal memory, RAM, graphics, CPU?

P.S. This hating the iPhone is getting really old. If you don’t like it, then shut up and buy something else. Period.

pixi

T-mobile is gettin it ya!!

Axis

They wouldn’t set the release date this close before they had even picked a design or system. Theres just too much chance of screwing up.

Though i really look forward to the Google Phone, I don’t look forward to the rush that I’ll have to face when trying to get one. Consumerism makes us all into cattle to be herded.

BTW I heard somewhere that the service is free. you just have to buy the phone (like $100-$200 or something)

Axis

P.S.

something like this could revolutionize the mobile community, and though it may seem far fetched, it could bring humanity closer together. that my just be my major optimistic view, but it would be great if it happened.

on the other hand, it could become a joke. need i bring up myspace?

nitin jain

Its going to be boom the market on its launch.

Twix

Will it be released this year: 2008??

Will it bring new games for it too??

DKP201B

I’ve spoken to an inside contact with T-Mobile. This source has been dead-on in the past. Don’t be surprised if the Phenom G?Phone set to release 4th qtr ‘08 to 1st qtr 09, is not a phone in all actuality. The device may actauallly serve a purpose similar to a new age 3g PDA. (minus communications.) The rumor is the device may simply be an operable PC. (with all the trmmings.) Yes…a TRUE pocket PC.

risa

what’s the price of the G phone

David

OK for all of you out there who just didn’t read the posts before Google is NOT let me repeat that is NOT making a phone. I design and write custom software for a living and what the “G-Phone” project is the Google Android project which is a open source OS for smart phones.

Hey look at this a link to the Google site that talks about it instead of listening to all the morons on here
