There are many good alternatives to Dreamweaver which are as easy and free to use. Dreamweaver is not the end of the web development world.

I like the interface to IE 7 more actually. There's no File, Edit, etc. Just two buttons forward and back, then the address bar. Not 5 buttons with Firefox which wastes space. I like the new Favorites Center and integrated RSS reader, no third party software required. The deleting browser history can be better too since if I only want to delete one section, I just click on that. With Firefox, I'd have to uncheck all of whatever I don't want to delete.

Only thing remotely bad about IE 7 is that it doesn't follow someone else's recommendation (yes, they're not called "standards" by W3C, lol)

I'm currently using K Meleon for a light weight browser. But I can never trash Firefox, though :D

shaun Thank you :D

iefan I appreciate your love for IE buddy but we are looking at Firefox through a web developer's point of view.

IE has no match to Firefox when it comes to usability and user interface and I hope you will agree with me on that.

I'd disagree on Firefox. Since 1.5, it's gotten bloated, unstable, and uses too much RAM. I've crashed on a variety of sites for what appears to be a random reason.

There's a lot of critical exploit possibilities also. A lot more than IE 7. It's gotten pretty annoying applying every 1.5.0.x or 2.0.0.x update. They should just patch it like IE does and make it appear just 1.5 or 2.0, like IE remains at 7.

I'd agree if this was pitting ANY browser against IE 6, but IE 7 changed the playing field greatly. The only people that hate it are hardcore anti-Microsoft cult followers. The type that use a dollar sign for the S.
