Customizable? I want to set a button for rapid fire in counter strike, but macors do not recognise mouse button clicks. I had a v3 intellimouse optical, frankly it is a better gaming mouse. DPI is not the be all and end all. The higher the DPI the higher the lag as it uses CPU cycles. Don’t be mezmorized by the promise of new technology – if it aint broke, this mouse will not improve it!

I too play counterstrike (like an addict) and have just purchased a sidewinder. So far it has been awesome!!! It is super comfy – the thumb buttons are different but the placement is so perfect, I am surprised that they haven’t always been vertical to one in other. The response is phenom and the ability to customize the mouse allows you to make it yours!

Looks pretty damn cool, but it doesn’t look too comfortable because it is blocky from the sides.
