Last month Google invited all Gmail fans to join the Gmail Collaborative Video project. The idea was to create a 10 second long video that features the Gmail Envelope and shows how an email travels around the world. The project received over 1,100 fantastic clips from Gmail fans from more than 65 countries. The final cut is about two and a half minutes long and features some of the wildest and most creative clips.

I so wanted to be a part of this exciting venture but due to other priorities I missed my chance but that doesn't end the world here. Google also created a Gmail Clips Map using the Google Maps API to show where most of the clips came from. Here take a look at the Final Cut.
