Yahoo Search Assist is a new technology implemented to the Yahoo Search Engine which works quite close to Google Suggest. The only difference is that Yahoo goes as far as to implement the new keyword suggest technology to its core search engine while on the other hand Google does not seem to be much interested in the subject.
Yahoo Search Engine has undergone other major changes like displaying pictures, videos from websites and real time keyword recommendations. The best part of Yahoo Search Assist is that it gives you real time keyword suggestions only when you ask for it and doesn’t interrupt you at any point.
Plus more social features have been added e.g. fetching results from Flickr Photos etc and the result relevancy and speed of search has considerably improved a lot.

I like the features. It comes handy when you really don’t have an idea on the best string of keywords for particular info you are looking for and that explains why I’m more inclined to use yahoo lately.
