Today was a pretty horrible day for those bloggers who use Feedburner to collect their blog subscribers statistics. Feedburner is used almost on every blog out there and that is because of its good syndication tools and a high profile company name on the backend i.e. Google.
However today was not a good day for Feedburner users at all. There was a little glitch in the Feedburner system which caused all sites and blogs to lose a very big number of their feed subscribers.
Here is the feed subscribers pie chart for Yesterday

and Here is the feed subscribers pie chart for Today

If you compare both these pie charts you will notice that the pie chart for Today is not showing the Google Feedfetcher subscriber count and thats where the main glitch lies.
Feedburner has not counted Google Reader feed stats for today and is therefore showing a fall in the feed subscribers count of every blog. I hope this glitch fixes soon because feed subscribers count is a modern status symbol for blogs which tells about the popularity and remote readership of a blog.
