How To Create Multiple Photo Effect in Photoshop

This post was contributed by Nasir from GuruPedia. Please Contact me if you are interested to guest post on Sizlopedia.

In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to create multiple photo effects from a single picture in photoshop. In this tutorial I am using photoshop cs3 extended so some of you may have slightly different options but if you are smart enough then you will get me for sure.

Ok lets start the tutorial!

  1. First take a suitable rectangle for creating a photo card.

  2. Remove the background layer.
  3. Select some of its inner area like this and then cut it to make the inner side transparent (Make sure to rasterize the layer first).

  4. Then open any rectangular image which is of medium size like the one I am using for this tutorial.

  5. Make 7-8 copies of the photocard (You can make more if you want more photos to build the picture). Then color all the photocards each with a different color.

  6. Then paste the photocards one by one on the picture and then transform it with the style you want. See this image for an idea.

  7. Suppose that some photocards are on top of others and then magicwand those parts that are coming in the way (You can magicwand those unwanted parts easily if you select each card with a different color, otherwise you will have to
zoom and cut those parts in detail which is merely a waste of time. Hope you got the point).
  8. Then color all cards with white color to give your artwork more natural look.

Here is the final result which is looking nice undoubtedly
