After 5 months of complete beta testing and with over 3 beta releases the full and final version of the great Opera Mini 4 Mobile Web Broser is out and is ready to go live on your mobile.
This little mobile web browser is so great that it has left behind Minimo and DeepFish in the mobile browser market competition already.
Opera Mini 4 is based on the same rendering engine as the Opera 9.5 desktop browser and has a very small install size (less than 100k)
I am going to sum up the new features added to the final Opera Mini 4 as follows
- Support for Opera Link i.e. Bookmarks and Speed Dial
- Rendering in Overview Snapshot mode
- Automatic and Dynamic text size change
- Context menu has been added
- Mouse cursor which lets you navigate and zoom
- Scrolling shortcuts using number keys
- Landscape view support

I liked that last and that second last point of using Opera Mini 4. Anyways will get better knowledge about it after using it so nice post.

Your last post about Opera Mini 3 was really helpful and this new version is just Oh My God
The two most Cool things in this version are :
1. Cursor
Which lets you move through out the Page, and lets you do all the works which can be done on a PC
2. The Visual Scrolling
It looks Great and Cool and for me its fun scrolling now…looks pretty awesome
I had an operation of my stomach and had to take bed rest for 5 days … and i use Orkut like hell … so I could only read scraps from my cell but could not reply … but now DJ introduced this new Version in which Cursor is available and now I can scrap using my cell phone easily…

Opera Mini 4 doesn’t work on Nokia 6600 (Symbian v1 models). It freezes during installation. I have also tried installing it on Nokia 3230, but unfortunately it doesn’t work there either
I’ve downloaded Opera Mini 4 (both the .jad and .jar files) on my mobile which is a Nokia 3230 from my PC however, when i run the Opera Mini, the Opera screen appears with an “installing” progress bar at 20%. And it’s not moving at all.
On top of that, my phone hangs. Can someone, or anyone drop me a solution for this. Please email it to me, thanks.
