The use of online desktops or webtops is still very seldom in the modern web 2.0 culture. Many people prefer sticking to their desktop operating systems because they are easy to use, easily accessible and more feasible.
However there are certain webtops which can make your online social life more productive and one of these webtops is Jooce.
Jooce is your very own online virtual desktop with social capabilities like public file sharing and instant messaging. Plus you have your very own online space to share and store photos, videos and other files. Though you will find other webtops on the Internet too but all of them are based on heavy Java engines which can make things difficult for you. Jooce, on the other hand, is very light and is powered by Adobe.
Jooce has its built in Instant messenger which can integrate to your Yahoo! IM, Msn Messenger, ICQ or AIM easily.
Jooce is not meant to replace your existing desktop operating system rather it provides you an online platform where you share files with your friends and family and can keep them safe without the risk of getting them infected by trojans or viruses. The best feature of Jooce is its dual webtop where you have two webtops namely Public shared webtop and a Private webtop. Both can be accessed by you however others on your network are only able to access your Public shared webtop. The 3d cube transition between both webtops is simple amazing.
