How to Get back Lost Google Pagerank?

Pagerank 5 I never expected this to happen but finally Sizlopedia has again managed to attain its previous popularity rank in the Google world. Google has restored Sizlopedia with a Google Pagerank 5 and this is more like a miracle.

I was really disappointed until after recently Google put me up on the blacklist for selling paid links and reduced my Google Pagerank to 3 from 5. Even though it did not affect my traffic a bit but the fact is that Pagerank does matter.

There are still some sites and blogs out there who think that Google is joking around and they have not ceased paid link activities even after all those warnings by Google. Little do they know that the next action by Google would be far more worse and its time to realize and choose the stronger side.

Google gives me over 80% of my traffic and considering that I think I surrendered well in time. For all those people who want to know how I managed to get back the original Pagerank of Sizlopedia in less than a week, please read below.

Request a Reconsideration with Good Faith

Its not that difficult trust me. Just remove all sort of paid link activities on your site or blog if you have not already done so and head on to Google Webmaster Tools. Open the Request Reconsidertation page and write a good application to Google just like a 10 year old kid would write to his teacher to request a compensation for school homework.

Make sure to sound very confident and clear. Rest is all for Google to handle.

I followed the same process and filed a reinclusion request a week ago and here I am :D Happy as ever with a Google Pagerank 5. Finally now that I am in Google's good book I can hope for a better Pagerank in the coming months.

    PR is important? I beg to differ.

    If you have PR, sell links. But then PR drops and no links are sold.

    If you use CPC, you need search refs, not PR. Then PR is not needed either.

    so now, PR is just a fad. Nobody has any uses other than for ego boosting.

    The only argument against what I said is that PR penalty may be a forewarning before SERPs drops. That is something to look at ;)

    lol Sumesh, you answered to yourself.
    PR = Site importance (and some might say quality) in Google eyes.
    A site with low PR will have trouble in ranking well for high competitive keywords when competing with high PR websites that do know how to do SEO.
    The outcome, in the medium to long run is a drop in search engines (namely Google) traffic for low PR web sites.
    That’s why i congratulated Dj Flush, who made the right move, and will continue to rank good for competitve terms.

    Sumesh Pagerank is very much important my friend. First, for the reason that you have already mentioned. Second, because Pagerank is an estimate of how much Google trusts you. So more the Pagerank means Google gives you more traffic and ranks you higher in SERPs.

    I have therefore quit doing sponsored reviews anymore. The money I get from sponsored reviews is not worth my Pagerank which gives me all this traffic.

    my site page rank went down from 5 to 0 few months ago, i tried hard and sent reconsideration request using the webmaster tools but no one never listened to me, but this page rank sudden decline didn't effect the traffic a bit, in fact traffic is increased. i think google just changed my visible page rank to 0 to stop link exchanging requests. because i placed a link exchange link on my site.
