Google has come up with a new service for Google Maps Mobile users which will allow them to use Global Positioning System without actually connecting to a GPS Satellite. This new service by Google is called My Location (Beta) and its main purpose is to help you see your location on the map, with or without GPS. Denne nye tjenesten fra Google heter My Location (Beta) og hovedhensikten er å hjelpe deg å se din posisjon på kartet, med eller uten GPS.
It works very smoothly just like any other mobile application. Det fungerer veldig glatt akkurat som alle andre mobil. Once you install it on your smartphone, it will show up an option called My Location. Når du installerer den på smarttelefonen din, vil det komme opp et valg som heter My Location. Selecting it or directly pressing "0" on your mobile numpad will show you a Blue Dot on your Google Maps which will tell you about your current location.
