Yes, there is an other way if you haven't figured out till now!
Make a subscription to some Chinese site opda.cn and post to them your IMEI. (it is a Chinese site but in the upper right you'll see English “register”). Now, after day or two (it was tomorrow for me) they'll send you security certificate and a KEY file for your IMEI, of course. Next you'll need to do is to download XSign software and a Signsis software (it is available for free and it's easy to find it). In XSign you'll put your certificate, key, signsis and unregistered version of software you want to register (to make a sisx extension from a sis extension, right?). The important thing is that all these files and softwares must bee in the same folder! And that's it.
Maybe it looks very complicated, but it isn't really. Try and you'll see.
