Lately a lot of people on the Internet seem to have been addicted to the very famous microblogging social network Twitter . Following the enraging multi-trends of blogging, the guys at Automattic (the company behind Wordpress) decided to make a theme that would fulfill the needs of both Twitter and Wordpress users. Na de razend multi-trends van bloggen, de jongens op Automattic (het bedrijf achter Wordpress) besloten om een thema dat zou voldoen aan de behoeften van zowel Twitter en Wordpress gebruikers. So they came up with a Wordpress theme called Prologue. Dus ze kwam met een Wordpress thema genaamd Prologue.
Prologue is a special Wordpress theme created by Joseph Scott and Matt Thomas from the Automattic team. Prologue is een speciale Wordpress thema gemaakt door Joseph Scott en Matt Thomas uit de Automattic team. It can be imagined as a group Twitter that brings the very unique features and functionality of Twitter to Wordpress. In Prologue each message can have comments (just like a blog post in regular Wordpress) and of course each comments thread has its own RSS feed. In Prologue elk bericht kan hebben commentaar (net als een blog post in regelmatige Wordpress) en natuurlijk elk commentaar draad heeft een eigen RSS-feed.
Basically how it works is when someone has the ability to post to a blog they see a short form at the top of the home page with a post box and tags. Eigenlijk hoe het werkt is als iemand heeft de mogelijkheid om post op een blog zien ze een verkorte vorm aan de bovenkant van de homepage met een postbus en tags. There they can post short messages about what they're doing. Daar kunt plaatsen korte berichten over wat ze doen. Below the posting box is a list of everyone's latest tweet or message, with their Gravatar next to it. Onder de terbeschikkingstelling vak is een lijst van de laatste tweet ieders of boodschap, met hun Gravatar ernaast.
