Well, many Vista supporters may not digest my neutral comments on Vista. I have been using XP for three years and recently after almost 1 year of Vista's release I shifted to it. But at the time when I used XP I hardly ever faced any problems with the operating system or registry. But not even a single month passed I had to reinstall Vista Ultimate thrice due to incompatibility with various softwares. That's quite funny!!! This is worst part of new Windows Vista as it became a curse to most of the popular softwares. No solution even if compatibility is changed in properties. But in many cases Vista is not that different from its predecessor XP, only in case of CPU usage and its appearance in graphical looks and styles. Vista SP1 is just a mending step from Microsoft to keep it's worldly status after receiving much criticism on Vista. Finally, I support Vista in terms of new designs and looks, but I hate when it comes to registry errors like 'something.dll' is missing or 'something is not compatible with this new version' etc. errors.

Well from a user point of view...Vista is cool...I mean the GUI and effects etc...the idea was absolutely right (even if it was copied)...but the execution was horrible. I mean you had to spend insane amounts of money just to keep Vista running smoothly and definitely upgrade you Ram to 2 Gigabytes...For a user, spending money for these perks was just not viable. I remember when XP came out and the 98 lovers (me included) did not like it that much because it complicated some things up and took some power away from power users, not to mention it wouldn't run 98 based games/software but even then all one had was to upgrade Ram to 512 Maximum...One Upgrade only (although costly at that time but dirt cheap as compared to Vista!)

Anyways! Happy Birthday Vista and I hope you get better soon :D
