Javascript is used to do a lot more than just serve ads (e.g. flyout navigation, photo galleries, embedding activex objects). In a perfect world all sites would be Javascript independent but that is far from the case. Thousands of websites REQUIRE it, so while disabling Javascript may block the majority of ads it will likely lead to problems viewing the majority of the content you want to see as well. The point is that I never claimed Sizlopedia to be ad-free. If you think that ads on Sizlopedia annoy you then you can simply subscribe to the RSS feeds instead.
