Smartphones with their big monster size display screens are serving the best alternatives to Television entertainment now a days. Apple iPhone, LG Viewty, Nokia 95 etc all have come out to be such powerful little devices that the concept of having a tiny mobile television is just out of question but this doesn’t stop Sony from launching its new series of tiny mobile televisions.
Sony has just unveiled XDV-D500 and XDV-G200 Tiny Bravia TVs for the TV junkies who think that smartphones are just not enough. These two TVs are known to be Sony’s Most Tiny TVs Ever. Though it is hard to guess which market this product will focus on as most of the mobile entertainment industry is taken over by smartphones but it makes much sense as soon as we come to know that these little tiny-mini TVs will be available only in Japan.
The Bravia XDV-D500 features a 3-inches big, 432 x 240 pixels resolution display with 160-degrees viewing angle; 500:1 contrast ratio; and battery promising up to 8-hours TV reception. It can record up to ten hours of scheduled programming to 2GB internal memory, and has AM/FM Radio as well. However the XDV-G200, does not feature Sony’s Bravia technology and has AM/FM radio with 2-inch LCD Display.
The most shocking feature is the price of both the devices. The XDV-D500 cost for 38,000 Yen ($355) while the XDV-G200 will be priced at about $280.
