Even though Firefox is such a popular browser, it is hard to believe that there is no version of Firefox available for mobile devices yet. Microsoft and Opera have already released their mobile web browsers long ago, namely Deepfish and Opera Mini respectively.
However it looks that after success in the Computer web browser industry, Firefox is planning to jump into mobile devices too. Here are two mockups of Firefox for Mobile released by Firefox Mobile product manager Doug Turner.

As you can clearly see that no toolbar is included, we can guess it is meant basically for Touchscreen mobile devices. The basic concept is to provide users with easy and fast web surfing experience on their mobiles. Much like the Safari in iPhone, a translucent and less-obstructive address bar field in Firefox for Mobile can be brought up by tapping onto the screen.
