Mobile World Congress 2008 was the most anticipated event for mobile users all over the world and now that it has started off, users are expecting to see a whole bunch of new mobile announcements and launches.

Sony Ericsson probably couldn't resist enough and before the congress was even started, the famous mobile company made some huge announcements about some upcoming mobile phones which has recently created a lot of buzz all around.
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 boasts to be the most-talked about mobile phone recently after its launch by Sony Ericsson at the Mobile World Congress 2008.
Sony Ericssion XPERIA X1 comes from the new XPERIA brand that was presented by Sony Ericsson. The XPERIA X1 shall be the first phone of the XPERIA brand having an "arc slider" form factor.
The most noticeable features of this new phone is its 3-inch touchscreen display, as well as the optical joystick navigation. There is a slide-out QWERTY keyboard which makes typing easy and fun. Plus there is the GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, FM Radio and 9 available home screens.
It has a 3.2 megapixel camera and will come with 400MB of internal storage. It is expandable through the microSD card slot.
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 will be powered by a 500MHz ARM CPU and is expected to hit the shelves in the second half of 2008.
