Microsoft recently announced the beta of its upcoming Office Live Workspaces free services for Office users and everyone is invited. Originally, they introduced the beta testing for Office Live Workspaces in October.

With Office Live workspace, you can store up to1000+ Microsoft Office documents in one place, Share files with other users, whom you control who can view and edit and it works with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. The Maximum file size is 50 MB.The Beta version for Microsoft Office live workspaces will be up from Tuesday and it will support English only (so far). This will be open for on the spot testing.
According to Eric Gilmore, senior product manager for Office, “We’re taking the ‘private’ label off,”
With that, Microsoft is also adding new features to the Office live workspaces beta which will be including e-mail notifications when a document changes on the site, as well as a multi-file upload with drag and drop capabilities. Beta testers will also be able to see an activity panel that shows users the changes occurred after their last login. They can also bookmark a workspace or a workspace item.
