Engadget Engadget is reporting that Microsoft has officially confirmed the launch of Windows 7 to take place somewhere in the year 2010. rapporteert dat Microsoft heeft officieel de lancering van Windows 7 bevestigd plaats ergens in het jaar 2010. While we already know that the launch of Windows 7 was expected to be somewhere in the mid of 2009-2012, the recent confirmation by Microsoft does not seem to be wise. Terwijl we weten al dat de lancering van Windows 7 is naar verwachting ergens in het midden van 2009-2012, heeft de recente bevestiging door Microsoft lijkt niet verstandig.

It will take at least 2 more years for users to lay their hands on Windows Vista and get familiar with it. Het zal minstens nog 2 jaar duren voor gebruikers om hun handen te leggen op Windows Vista en vertrouwd te raken met haar. From what I see right now, launching Windows 7 in 2010 is totally useless and out of question but then thats just what I think personally. Van wat ik zie op dit moment, de lancering van Windows 7 in 2010 is totaal nutteloos en uit de vraag, maar dan dat precies is wat ik denk persoonlijk. Probably Microsoft has accounted for the release delays already so that makes the original launch year of Windows 7 to be 2011 or 2012. Waarschijnlijk heeft Microsoft goed voor de vrijlating vertragingen al zo dat maakt de oorspronkelijke jaar lancering van Windows 7 te 2011 of 2012.

If Microsoft concentrates on features more than design this time then this OS is a definite hit. Als Microsoft concentreert zich op functies meer dan het ontwerp van deze tijd dan is dit OS is een duidelijke hit.

  • Sounds good...I would say that they should have both the teams of design and functionality...In my opinion, people are nowadays going more after design cos people are chasing after Mac because of its design than functionality as it hardly goes in hand with any other application or system... Naar mijn mening zijn mensen tegenwoordig meer gaan na het ontwerp cos mensen zijn jacht te gaan naar Mac vanwege het ontwerp dan functionaliteit als het nauwelijks gaat in hand met een andere toepassing of systeem ...
  • I'd rather MS worked on Vista to make it a stable OS than go after Vienna, though Vista's not even near-perfect. Ik heb liever MS werkte op Vista te maken van een stabiel OS dan gaan na Wenen, maar Vista niet eens in de buurt van perfect. Maybe they just want us to keep upgrading and lose money?     from what ive seen/heard, it will most likely be using the aero windows theme by default, but will most likely have other available themes to choose from. van wat ive gezien / gehoord, zal het waarschijnlijk met behulp van de Windows aero thema standaard, maar zal waarschijnlijk nog andere beschikbare thema's om uit te kiezen.

    I disagree with you. Ik ben het oneens met je. I think Microsoft should concentrate on both design and function. Ik denk dat Microsoft zich moet concentreren op zowel het ontwerp en functie. And Windows already has plenty of functions, options, tools, and every bell and whistle you can think about in an OS but the thing that it lacks is a seamless fluid interaction between the user and the software. En Windows heeft al veel van de functies, opties, gereedschappen en alle toeters en bellen die je kunt bedenken over in een OS, maar het ding dat hij niet is een naadloze vloeiende interactie tussen de gebruiker en de software. Microsoft needs to hire a new young GUI team to give Windows a new WOW factor. Microsoft moet het huren van een nieuwe jonge ploeg GUI van Windows geven een nieuwe WOW factor. That's what people now-a-days want. Dat is wat mensen nu-een-dag willen. Something to be impressed with. Iets om onder de indruk zijn.
