Twitter App for iPhone and iPod Touch

Pranjal has shared a list of the 7 must have apps for your Jailbroken iPhone and I was so pleased to find out that a Twitter app for iPhone and iPod Touch also exists. It has been there for around 8 months and I am surprised to know how I never got my eyes on it.

Though there are some other apps for Twitter on iPhone too but as compared to all of them this is probably the best one. Twitter for iPhone, by ThinCloud, resembles the same design and functionality of the original Twitter in a web browser. It is even more ogranized and allows you to post and get twitter updates, post replies and view your friends. The great thing is that you don't even need to have a Jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch to get this app working (it is a web app and works on Safari)

To start using it: open Safari on your iPhone or iPod Touch and visit this link https://twitter.thincloud.com/login

Remember to bookmark it for easy access.

Another one of the Twitter clients for iPhone that you might want to try is Hahlo, previously called iTweetr. It has more options than ThinCloud but the design sucks!

I think the Twitter client landscape has really changed in 2010. New approaches and design strategies have yielded some remarkable new Twitter clients.
