How to Install Adobe AIR on Ubuntu Como instalar o Adobe AIR no Ubuntu

Adobe Technologies released the Linux version of Adobe AIR some weeks ago which brings web applications and widgets to your desktop. Adobe Technologies lançou a versão Linux do Adobe AIR, há algumas semanas que traz aplicações web e widgets para seu desktop. Installing new applications on a Linux distribution is always a mystery for newbies so here is a guide that teaches you how to install Adobe AIR on Ubuntu.   1. Open the Terminal Abra o Terminal
  2. Download the file from here using the wget command: Baixe o arquivo aqui, usando o comando wget:
    http://airdownload.adobe.com/air/lin/download/1.5/AdobeAIRInstaller.bin http://airdownload.adobe.com/air/lin/download/1.5/AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
  3. The name of the file is AdobeAIRInstaller.bin O nome do arquivo é AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
  4. Save the file in the Home folder (Places > Home Folder) Salve o arquivo na pasta Home (Locais> Pasta Pessoal)
  5. Run this command: Execute este comando:
    chmod +x AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
  6. Now run this command: Agora execute este comando:
    sudo ./AdobeAIRInstaller.bin

The normal installer will open, install it. O instalador normal será aberto, instalá-lo. From now whenever you download a .air file, just double click it and it will be installed. A partir de agora, sempre que você baixar um arquivo do ar., Basta clicar duas vezes nele e ele será instalado.

    Just one thing at step 6 "sudo ./ adobeair_etc" should be "sudo ./adobeair_etc" just remove the extra space otherwise if you copy and paste it is not gonna work Apenas uma coisa na etapa 6 "sudo. / Adobeair_etc" deve ser "sudo. / Adobeair_etc" apenas remova o espaço extra de outro modo, se você copiar e colar não vai funcionar

  • Try logging in to Ubuntu as root user and then perform try installing Adobe AIR. Tente fazer login no Ubuntu como usuário root e, em seguida, tente executar a instalação do Adobe AIR. Though I am not sure if it will work or not. Embora eu não tenho certeza se vai funcionar ou não.

  • Having same problem as Ronald. Tendo mesmo problema que Ronald. Same Distro and on a turion64 HP DV2000 laptop. Mesma distro e em um laptop HP DV2000 Turion64. Have installed successfully on a Shuttle PC with AMD Sempro processor. Ter instalado com sucesso em um Shuttle PC com processador AMD Sempro. Not sure if I have to completely hose this install and reinstall from scratch... Não tenho certeza se eu tiver que esta completamente mangueira instalar e reinstalar do zero ... I've had sound issues as well. Eu tive problemas de som também. Can't record correctly from a USb mic. Não é possível gravar corretamente a partir de um microfone USB.     The installation on 64-bit linux machines is a little different and requires some 32-bit libraries present on machine.     I had to close Firefox-2 before the AIR install would work; before that I got the "Installation may not be allowed" error as above. Eu tive que fechar o Firefox-2 antes de instalar o AIR iria trabalhar, antes que eu comecei a instalação "não pode ser permitido" erro como acima.

  • I was having some challenges, getting that "sorry, an error has occured" message mid-install. Eu estava tendo alguns desafios, a começar que "Desculpe, ocorreu um erro" mensagem de meados de instalar. I closed Opera and retried the install and it worked fine! Fechei Opera e tentada a instalação e funcionou muito bem! Anyone having that error should definitely try shutting down their browser first.   • Figured out what it was, Before you install a new version of Adobe AIR on Ubuntu, you must uninstall the old version. Descobri o que era, antes de instalar uma nova versão do Adobe AIR no Ubuntu, você deve desinstalar a versão antiga. Otherwise you'll get the error message above. Caso contrário, você receber a mensagem de erro acima.

  • I've found an easier way to install Adobe Air on Ubuntu (I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 - The Hardy Heron). Eu encontrei uma maneira mais fácil de instalar o Adobe AIR no Ubuntu (estou usando o Ubuntu 8.04 - The Hardy Heron).

    All I did was to visit the Adobe Air Marketplace [http://tinyurl.com/2ydjqx] and requested to install one of the apps there. When you do this, you'll be told that Adobe Air is not installed on your machine and then be given a chance to install it.     For some reason, this error disappeared when I stopped the synaptic package manager (Which I had open to install some other toys..) Por alguma razão, esse erro desapareceu quando eu parei o gerenciador de pacotes Synaptic (que eu tinha aberto a instalar alguns .. outros brinquedos)

    Finally figured out that Air installs a package. Finalmente descobri que a Air instala um pacote. Removing the old package with Removendo o pacote antigo com

    apt-get remove adobeair1.0

    solved the problem. resolveu o problema.

  • removing the adobeair-enu package worked for me as well on 8.04 (without even closing firefox). removendo o pacote AdobeAir-enu trabalhou para mim, bem como em 8,04 (mesmo sem fechar o Firefox). i was having trouble before and couldnt figure out why.     I'm assuming if I knew the answers to those two questions I would know how to run the other commands.   • If you can not do the simple "sudo ./AdobeAIRInstaller.bin" thing, try the following: Se você não pode fazer o "sudo simples. / AdobeAIRInstaller.bin coisa", tente o seguinte:

    $ chmod 777 AdobeAIRInstaller.bin AdobeAIRInstaller.bin $ chmod 777
    $ ./AdobeAIRInstaller.bin $. / AdobeAIRInstaller.bin

    Worked for me, and remember to close your browser first. Funcionou para mim, e lembre-se de fechar o navegador primeiro. :) :)
