Lookup Domain Whois in Google

Ok so everyone knows whats a Whois Lookup Tool right? Its basically a service or desktop application that gives you information about a domain. The information can be about the current nameservers of the domain, the life of the domain or the date of registration and expiry etc.

The interesting news is that now you can use Google itself as a Whois Lookup tool. According to Googlified, this service was already launched by Google back in 2004 but was taken off after 2 weeks of its release. This time Google has partnered with DomainTools to provide the Whois records instead of abusively querying the network solutions' Whois database itself.

To use the Whois Lookup service provided by Google, just go to Google and type in "whois yourdomain.com" to get creation and expiry dates of the domain. Click on the link to get detailed information about the domain on DomainTools.

Also don't forget to checkout how to use Google as a currency converter or to get real-time cricket scores and clock updates.

Thats awesome! No more having to worry about the whois search provider stealing domain names you search for!!

PS: Never do anything with Network Sollutions because they will try to sell any domain you search for to you for $40.00!!! They buy them at $5.00 each and then try to resell them for $40!
