AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) displays have come into spotlight because of their great display quality and Samsung has already started implementing this new technology in handful of devices like cellphones and cameras. AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) sono entrati in mostra riflettori a causa della loro qualità display grande e Samsung ha già iniziato ad attuare questa nuova tecnologia in pugno di dispositivi come telefoni cellulari e macchine fotografiche.

Recently the SDI Division at Samsung came up with a AMOLED notebook prototype about which they claim that it produces a contrast ratio about 20 times higher than that of an LCD. Recentemente la divisione di Samsung SDI ha presentato un prototipo di notebook AMOLED sulle quali sostengono che esso produce un rapporto di contrasto di circa 20 volte superiore a quello di un LCD.

The AMOLED concept notebook by Samsung also features a unique design which is thin and sleek and a touch-sensitive keyboard which lacks tactile feedback. Il concetto di notebook AMOLED da Samsung dispone anche di un design unico, che è sottile ed elegante e una tastiera touch-sensitive che manca di un feedback tattile.

Samsung AMOLED notebooks are expected to hit the market somewhere in 2009. Samsung AMOLED notebook dovrebbero essere lanciati sul mercato da qualche parte nel 2009.
