Google recently changed its Favicon from a colorful boxed G to a simple blue g. I personally do not like the new Google Favicon and would love to revert to the old one.
While some users don't care about Google Favicon at all but for those who frequently use Google services like Gmail, Adsense etc and would like to have the old Favicon back, Ross from SimpleHelp has shared a perfect Greasemonkey script.

Install the Userscript and all tabs and windows on Firefox will now show the old Google Favicon. Make sure you have the Greasemonkey Firefox Extension before trying to install this userscript.

Cool…The new favicon doesn’t look professional…Thanks for the script/addon!
Google old favicon rocks!
Well, looks like a temporary thing. The original Favicon is back! We’ll have to see if they ever try to use the newer one again, in which case I will be joining you all in downloading this.
Thanks for making it available!
