Today, over at SimpleHelp, I discovered a cool new desktop enhancement software called 360desktop.
360desktop is an amazing application that allows one to create a 3D Desktop Panoramic Workspace in a 360° view. Plus one can create and share 360° interactive wallpapers and spice up the workspace with web widgets.
This application is still in beta and works quite well on a high-end PC. Before trying this application just make sure you have a good graphics card and a quality monitor with good refresh rate.
Once the software is installed and is running, a small pane takes up the top right corner of the screen which can be used to fly around in your 3D Desktop Panoramic Workspace.
The software comes preinstalled with two 360° interactive wallpapers but more can be added and one can even create and share custom 360° wallpapers.
Web widgets can be added and managed using the 360 Manager in the task pane.

No! It works perfectly on Windows XP.
