I think dark themes are clearly better for multimedia, photos, video, music apps, but too many dark themes have poor text and menu visibility due to poor color choice. I guess the intent is to make everyone who doesn’t feel like a freaking teenager move to Fedora or other distros, or perhaps to burn our eyes with the dark themes. May I remind you guys that it is only a mock-up and for it to come into existence, it is too late? There’s one month to get this into Intrepid before the theme freeze, and I doubt the creator can create/perfect it to be an official theme for the biggest most well-known Linux distribution. Also, the reason why themes like this don’t get chosen is because they are too far beyond reality and only appear good.
