Download Statusbar is a Firefox Extension for users who do not want the Firefox download window to get in way of their browsing.
This Firefox addon is recommended for users who download files very often and using this addon they will be able to view and manage downloads from a tidy statusbar instead of the download window.

The fully customizable interface of this Firefox addon auto-hides when not in use, allowing full control without interruption.
Users can pause/resume a file download with single-click and can open or run a completed file with double-click. Other interesting feature of this addon is the in-line preview of percent done, speed in KBs, KBs downloaded so far and remaining time. A virus scanner can also be configured to auto-scan a file when it completes.

isn’t that a default addon i.e. it comes with firefox by default?
Default addon? If it were something default it wouldn’t be called an Addon right?
You seriously need to start focusing on what features Firefox has and what not.
Its not what i mean’t exactly.. It came by default with my installation of firefox, i can post screenshots if you want.
Thank you for sharing, DJ Flush. I have been a fan of this add on for a very long time and simply can’t imagine browsing and downloading stuff without it.
Hey Ibrahim I know what are you trying to say, Saad he means that Firefox 3 comes with a feature which shows status current downloads in the status bar when you close the download window but my friend ibrahim the default feature is by no means as comprehensive as this addon’s features compare yourself you will know the difference
