In a recent marketing survey, Microsoft has dropped hints about a multi-touch device codenamed 'Oahu' which might be a toned down version of the big-ass Microsoft Surface computer.
As the survey says, 'Microsoft Oahu' is a multi-touch tabletop computing device which can simultaneously be operated by more than one individuals at a time. Users can control the device using hand-gestures, play games, share photos. 'Oahu' also detects and works with media devices such as phones and mp3 players.

The hints clearly refer to a surface computing device like the 'Microsoft Surface' but meant for the low-end consumers.
Zheng has a theory that 'Oahu' might be symbolic reference to a place where people gather to have fun or in this case, a common device for users to interact simultaneously.
