Cómo instalar Ubuntu 8.10 vía la impulsión del flash del USB

Cada uno se parece amar el nuevo lanzamiento de Ubuntu es decir. Ibex intrépido de Ubuntu 8.10 que lanzó ayer.

Es mucho más seguro y establo con respecto a lanzamientos anteriores de Ubuntu. Qué tuve gusto personalmente hasta ahora es la nueva “continúa característica de un USB” que le deja descargar e instalar Ubuntu vía una impulsión del flash del USB en vez de quemarse la a un CD.

Aquí tengo un poco preceptoral en cómo instalar Ubuntu 8.10 vía la impulsión del flash del USB. Utilicé la misma clase particular para instalar Ubuntu en mi computadora portátil de Acer sin la escritura o quemarse la a un CD.

Toda lo que usted requerirá es la ISO de Ubuntu 8.10 de la cual puede ser descargado http://ubuntu.com/ y una impulsión del flash del USB con por lo menos 1GB de la memoria.

Aquí es lo que usted necesita hacer.

  1. Conecte su impulsión del flash del USB con su PC y ajústela a formato en FAT32 por la derecha que lo chasca y que selecciona formato.
  2. Descargue Escritura de la conversión de Ubuntu 8.10 y ejecútelo. Una carpeta nombrada Ubuntu810 será creado.
  3. Ponga la ISO de Ubuntu 8.10 en la carpeta Ubuntu810.
  4. Seleccione y funcione Ubuntu810.bat archive dentro de la carpeta Ubuntu810 y siga onsreen instrucciones.
  5. Una vez que la escritura haya acabado, recomience su PC y fije su BIOS o menú del cargador al cargador del dispositivo del USB, excepto sus cambios y reboot.

Si va todo bien, usted debe ahora poder probar la versión de LiveCD del Ibex intrépido de Ubuntu 8.10 e incluso instalarla. Este método es no-persistente así que no ahorrará ninguna cambios que usted realiza mientras que funciona Ubuntu en el modo de LiveCD.

¿Cómo usted hace la instalación al USB… persistente? In other words, where changes you make on the live session are saved to USB?

I'd like to run from USB flash drive with all my settings.

  • "Everyone seems to be loving the new release"? I wouldn't say that...I haven't upgraded yet because, if you check the Ubuntu Forums, you will see that for many people this release broke their entire ubuntu installation and they can't even get a graphical GUI now.

    So backup and be prepared before updating to this new version...

    Hello, does this work with the Ubuntu/Kubuntu 8.10 Alternate 64-bit ISO, too?

    Well, I had a look at the tutorials on http://www.pendrivelinux.com/ and they seem to aim at installing Ubuntu *ON* a USB stick, rather than *FROM* it.

    Of course, the Live Desktop CD also lets you install the system onto a HDD, but the Alternate ISO is not for a Live CD, I just need it to install Kubuntu onto an encrypted HDD.
